Technology is a broad concept that deals with our usage and knowledge of tools and crafts, and how it affects our ability to control and adapt to our environment. Sovereignty is the exclusive right to exercise supreme political authority over a geographic region, group of people, or oneself, subject to no other. Combining these two terms, we come up with a new term, Technology Sovereignty, meaning technological independence and self-sufficiency, subject to no other. Why is this concept important to Syria?
